IT Infrastructure Engineer

Knutsford (Head office) | £Competitive | Full Time

We are looking for a talented IT infrastructure engineer to provide systems support from GRI HQ, ensuring the resilient delivery of cost-effective IT services and applications across the company.

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Full Time)

ABOUT THE ROLE / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to provide high quality infrastructure support for GRI, ensuring provision of cost-effective, resilient delivery of IT services and applications. This will include but not be limited to:

  • To carry out infrastructure system administration and management tasks,
  • To develop positive working relationships with internal and external clients and suppliers, offering support where appropriate,
  • To participate in, work within the structures of, and as appropriate enforce the Company’s Information Security Management System,
  • To attend training and development programmes to fulfil personal development goals agreed with the Company,
  • To maintain confidentiality at all times,
  • To actively work to and embed the Company values; collaboration, integrity, success and excellence in all of the work practices,
  • To undertake any other duties outside your normal duties, that are reasonably consistent with your position, as the Company may require from time to time. 

ABOUT YOU / KEY SKILLS:

  • Linux systems administration and management, especially Debian and Ubuntu,
  • AWS administration and management, particular focus on EC2 and RDS, 
  • MySQL Administration and management,
  • Atlassian suite administration and management,
  • Jenkins administration and management,
  • Office 365 administration experience,
  • Docker administration and devops.
